Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM)--Residents in the Tea and Harrisburg, SD areas spotted a rare phenomena early Sunday afternoon....cold air funnel clouds. The National Weather Service says they are commonly associated with weak thunderstorms when a cold front passes through. Sioux Falls NWS Forecaster Kari Hanko says they rarely become true tornadoes and are short lived.
