Sioux Dalls, SD (KELO AM) - Lane closures and road construction in Sioux Falls for the week of August 11:
Lane Closure – Russell Street
On Tuesday morning, August 12, 2014, the outside westbound lane on Russell Street will be closed between Dakota Avenue and Minnesota Avenue. Westbound traffic will use the inside westbound lane.
Henning Construction will be performing utility work. The work is anticipated to be finished by the evening of August 26, 2014.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure – 12th Street
Due to inclement weather, the lane closure planned for West 12th Street has been postponed until Monday, August 11, 2014. A portion of the outside eastbound lane of West 12th Street, between South Lincoln Avenue and South Elmwood Avenue, will be closed due to an inlet repair project. The inside eastbound lane will remain open to traffic at all times.
With weather permitting, this portion of the project is anticipated to be completed by August 18, 2014.

Lane Closure – ‘A’ Avenue
On Monday morning, August 11, 2014, the northbound lane on ‘A’ Avenue will be closed north of Blackhawk Street. Traffic will be shifted, but will be maintained in both directions at all times.
Q3 Contracting will be performing utility work. The work is anticipated to be finished by the evening of August 11, 2014.

41st Street Closure at River Bluff Road
Starting Monday, August 11, 2014, 41st Street will be closed just west of River Bluff Road to allow construction crews to install sanitary sewer. This closure is part of the Eastside Sanitary Sewer Basin 20 project from Six Mile Road to Riverview Avenue.
Traffic using 41st Street will be detoured to Six Mile Road and Highway 42. Access to residents along 41st Street will be maintained from Six Mile Road and Highway 42.
41st Street is expected to reopen in approximately one week.
