Each year, the group chooses one member, who has provided significant contributions to the group, to receive the S.A.L.L.Y. (Sweet Adeline Leading Lady of the Year) award. Sound Cascade is directed by David Sternborg who also happens to sing with the Sioux Emperians. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings at Good Samaritan Prairie Creek, located at 4400 W.
