SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO-AM) The first of two public meetings that will give residents opportunities to provide input on the proposed deer management program will take place this week. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the South Dakota Game, Fish, and Parks Outdoor Campus, 4500 South Oxbow Avenue.

“We have had a good response to our online survey,” says Captain Richard Miller. “These meetings are a great way to engage the public, and we want to hear from as many Sioux Falls residents as possible before we put any plan into place.”

Representatives from both the Sioux Falls Police Department and Game, Fish, and Parks will attend this meeting to speak with citizens and answer questions about the proposed deer management program.

A second meeting is scheduled the following week on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the same location, Outdoor Campus, 4500 South Oxbow Avenue.
