SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The U-S House is expected to pass a continuing resolution funding the federal government until mid-December.
Senator Tim Johnson says the C-R contains a provision dealing with ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Johnson says he supports the administration's proposal to arm Syrian rebels to fight the militant ISIS.
Johnson says supports U.S airstrikes but he strongly opposes using American ground troops.
He says the continuing resolution also contains a provision extending the authorization of the export-import bank.
The Senate is expected to take up the measure later this week.
