Sioux Falls Road Projects This Week

Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) – Here is the road work scheduled for this week in Sioux Falls.

Lane Closure – East Sixth Street

Beginning on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, a portion of the outside eastbound lane of East Sixth Street, at West Locust Avenue, will be closed due to an inlet repair project. The inside eastbound lane will remain open to traffic at all times.

With weather permitting, this portion of the project is anticipated to be completed by September 30, 2014.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.

Panama Street Closure

Beginning on Monday, September 22, 2014, Panama Street will be closed at Theodore Avenue to allow construction crews to replace a valley gutter. Traffic on Theodore Avenue will not be affected by this work.

This work is expected to be complete in approximately one week.
