Sioux Falls, SD (KWSN) –Tickets for the Oct. 10 NBA exhibition game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Milwaukee Bucks at the Sanford Pentagon go on sale Tuesday at noon at ticketmaster.com.

Tipoff for the game, which will be the first played on the Pentagon’s Heritage Court, is 7 p.m.

Scheduled to open in September, the Pentagon will hold a series of grand-opening events throughout October and November, including the Oct. 10 contest between the Timberwolves and Bucks and a Nov. 8 regular-season meeting between the University of Wisconsin and St. John’s University (NY) men’s basketball programs.

“Incredible sight lines and an intimate setting will make for a memorable fan experience,” said Eric Larsen, general manager for the Sanford Sports Complex. “We believe the Pentagon is an asset to Sioux Falls and a gem in the upper Midwest.”

“Playing in the Pentagon and spending time at the Sanford Sports Complex will be enjoyable experiences for our organization,” said Chris Wright, president of the Timberwolves. “We are anxious to make the trip to Sioux Falls and appreciate what the community has to offer.”

The Pentagon is part of the Sanford Sports Complex located along Westport Avenue between Benson Road and West 54th Street in Sioux Falls.  The 162-acre complex is the home of the Sanford Fieldhouse and nine Junior Football fields. The Sioux Falls Ice Sports Association will open the Scheels IcePlex in September 2014, and the Sioux Falls Tennis Association’s Community Indoor Tennis Center is scheduled to open in late 2013.

About the Sanford Pentagon The cornerstone of the Sanford Sports Complex in Sioux Falls, SD, is the Sanford Pentagon, a 160,000-square-foot, five-sided facility featuring nine basketball courts, including the 1950s/1960s-inspired Heritage Court. The venue combines state-of-the-art amenities—including high-definition video boards and executive suites—with period-specific finishes that are a nod to the nostalgic days of basketball.

The 3,200-seat Pentagon is home to Sanford POWER Basketball Academy, Sanford POWER Volleyball Academy, the NBA D-League’s Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women’s and Men’s Basketball tournaments and the South Dakota High School Basketball Hall of Fame.
