Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - Here are the lane closures and utility projects for this week in Sioux Falls:
Road Closure – Six Mile Road
Starting on Monday, September 29, 2014, Six Mile Road will be closed south of 41st Street to allow construction crews to install sanitary sewer. This closure is part of the Eastside Sanitary Sewer Basin 20 project from Six Mile Road to Riverview Avenue. Traffic using Six Mile Road will be detoured on 41st Street, Highway 11, and 57th Street.
Six Mile Road is expected to reopen in approximately five days.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
Lane Closure – 41st Street
At 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, September 30, 2014, the outside westbound lane on 41st Street will be closed east of Gibson Avenue. Westbound traffic will use the inside westbound lane.
Telcom will be performing utility work. The work is anticipated to be finished, weather permitting, by the evening of October 2, 2014.

Lane Closure – East Tenth Street
Beginning on Monday, September 29, 2014, a portion of the outside westbound lane of East Tenth Street, between South Bahnson Avenue and South Thompson Avenue, will be closed due to an inlet repair project. The inside westbound lane will remain open to traffic at all times.
With weather permitting, this portion of the project is anticipated to be completed by October 6, 2014.

Lane Closure – South Minnesota Avenue
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, October 1, 2014, the outside southbound lane on South Minnesota Avenue will be closed between West 16th Street and West 17th Street. Southbound traffic will use the inside southbound lane.
Q3 Contracting will be performing fiber work which is anticipated to be finished by the evening of October 1, 2014.
