Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - Beginning on Monday, October 6, 2014, work will begin to replace the asphalt approaches to the railroad overpass on 57th Street between Lewis Avenue and Southeastern Avenue. Work will consist of removing the existing asphalt approaches and replacing them with permanent concrete approaches. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times during construction.
The project is expected to be complete by early November, 2014.
Drivers are urged to use caution and reduce their speed while travelling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
