SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls police say a man suffered non-life threatening injuries in a robbery last night near McCart Field on West Madison Street.
A Sioux Falls man suffered a stab wound to the chest after chasing a suspect who put a knife to his neck and took his wallet.
Officer Sam Clemens says the 43-year-old victim was robbed in his apartment parking lot on West Madison and chased the suspect into McCart Field. Clemens says the victim caught up to the suspect and managed to get a hand on his shoulder. The suspect wheeled around an stabbed the victim in the chest.
Clemens says the victim’s wound was non-life threatening. The suspect fled and hasn’t been found.
The suspect is described as an American Indian around six feet tall and wearing a dark shirt.
