SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Some rural Minnehaha County residents are complaining about the length of the grass along public road ditches.
Highway Superintendent D.J. Buthe says both the county’s two ditch mowers broke down this summer.
Buthe says crews have just finished mowing ditches in the east half of the county and should finish mowing the west half in two to three week. As long as the mowers don't break down again, Buthe says.
Buthe says he’ll reassess ditch mowing this winter to see if there’s anything the county can do better or different.
