SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO AM) – The South Dakota Department of Transportation will close the northbound driving lane of the Highway 11 bridge over Split Rock Creek for bridge painting on Monday, Oct. 20.
The bridge is located three-quarters-of-a-mile north of the Highway 42/11 junction.
Traffic across the bridge will be reduced to one lane and controlled with a traffic signal system.
Work is expected to be completed by Friday, Oct. 24.
The prime contractor for the $575,000 project is Pacific Painting Company of Munster, Indiana.
