Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) Absentee voting in Minnehaha County for the November election is about half of what County Auditor Bob Litz considers normal.
Litz predicts that the county will wind up with about 8,000 to 10,000 absentees where normally there up as high as 18,000. He says if people get excited they vote, but if they get disgusted they stay home.
Monday was the final day in South Dakota to register to vote for the November election. Litz says traffic at his office was steady all day.
