Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - Multiple reports indicate a traveler who returned to South Dakota from West Africa last week is being monitored for signs of Ebola.
The monitoring is part of new CDC guidelines regarding those who have recently traveled to the region, and is strictly precautionary. The unidentified traveler returned to South Dakota on Oct 23rd and will be checked up on twice a day for the next 21 days.
The person is not a patient at any area hospital, and is not considered a risk to the public.
