SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Emergency response was put to the test yesterday in Sioux Falls when an intoxicated man lied about having contact with Ebola patients.

Sergeant Sean Kooistra says 28-year-old Komouteh Toe drove into a pole at 10th and Spring and lied to police about recently being out of the country.  Kooistra says he told officers that he had been in contact with Ebolas patients.

Police took Toe to McKennan where emergency reponse was taken.  It was determined that Toe did not have Ebola and was taken immediately.

Kooistra says Komouteh is charged with D-W-I and misdemeanor false reporting.
