SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A while back, Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether advised motorists to wait a second after street lights turn green before proceeding.
Lieutenant Troy Lubbers says ten extra officers will patrol the city between ten a.m. and four p.m. tomorrow watching for red light violators.
Lubbers says officers will not issue warning tickets, if you're stopped for running a red light you will get a ticket. The fine for running a red light is $120.
Lubbers says officers issued 274 red light citations over the last three months.
