SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) -The Chairwoman of the Constitution Party of South Dakota this morning charged Minnehaha County and the State with breaking election laws.
At the Minnehaha County Commission meeting, Lori Stacy alleged failure to notify residents of district changes, voter suppression and recreating ballots.
Stacy was her party’s failed candidate for Secretary of State.
A Minnehaha County poll worker came to the defense of last week’s election at this morning’s Commission meeting.
Auditor Bob Litz asked Bruce Danielson to be on the resolution board after the machine had kicked out 600 absentee ballots. He says all the ballots were carefully considered in the boards and there were no disagreements between workers over voter intentions.
Danielson says he was at the courthouse for 23 hours on election day.
