
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Three South Dakotans suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries in a three vehicle accident on Highway 44 southeast of Lennox Thursday morning.
The Highway Patrol says a semi driven by a Wichita, Kansas, man was backing into a driveway when a car driven by 49-year-old KevIn Sunderland of Hurley hit the rear end of the trailer.
Another vehicle driven by 53-year-old Bobby McCartney of Parker hit Sunderland’s car and the trailer.
A passenger in McCartney’s car, 53-year-old Deanna McCartney also was injured.
The crash is under investigation.
