SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls police are releasing more details into last Saturday’s firework’s assault of a clerk at the B-P convenience store on West Russell Street.
Officer Sam Clemens says the surveillance video shows a male, race unknown, about six foot two, medium build and 200 pounds.
Clemens says he was wearing an older knit, dark green ski mask. The mask had yellow stitching around the eyes and mouth. He says the suspect also colored around his eyes and mouth with what police say was eye black.
Clemens says the suspect told the female clerk that he had a bomb, lit the device and threw it at her. She deflected the object and it fell to the floor where it started smoking.
Clemens says the woman was not injured and the device appears to be sparkers tied together.
