SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The painting of the Shamrock at 9th and Phillips kicks off the St. Patrick’s Day celebration and parade in downtown Sioux Falls this Saturday.
Parade Grand Marshal Betty Ordahl says downtown shines for the 36th annual observance.
The parade starts at two at 5th and Main. St. Patrick’s Day parade buttons are three dollars benefiting Special Olympics.
The first St. Patrick's Dsy Parade in Sioux Falls was held in 1980. Anyone can participate in the parade as long as they buy the official St. Patrick's Day Parade buttons at $3 apiece
