SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says he supports any law enforcement’s decision to add body cameras to officers.
Jackley says his office has helped about a half dozen agencies buy cameras.
Jackely says through the drug control fund, which is not tax dollars but the bad guys money, his office can support public safety. He says his office will help pay for the hardware for body cameras.
Jackley says there’s a working group of state and local law enforcement official preparing a manual on body cameras.
