SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - As Memorial Day nears, J and L Harley-Davidson is thanking the men and women defending our country by offering them the New Rider Course for free.
Joe Entenman says instructors teach students how to ride a motorcycle, for free.
Entenman says the offer is available to current and former U.S. Military personnel. The program runs through September13th but there is an extension for military personnel deployed outside the U.S. that's valid through 2016.
Entenman says the course is designed to get new riders comfortable on a motorcycle and teach them the skills needed to ride with confidence.
Training, classroom and riding, is done at J and L.
