Community Centers to Host Open Houses Week of September 16

Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation will be opening the five community centers for the new school year on Monday, September 16, 2013, and will be hosting open houses for community members to preview the centers. Join us to see how you can enjoy the experience with Parks and Recreation!

There will be information regarding Parks and Recreation programs, and you can see how our meeting rooms can accommodate meetings or your next birthday or family gathering. Open houses will be held as follows from 5 to 7 p.m.

• Kuehn Community Center: Monday, September 16. Located at 2801 South Valley View Road.
• Kenny Anderson Community Center: Tuesday, September 17. Located at 3701 East Third Street.
• Oyate Community Center: Wednesday, September 18. Located at 2421 West 15th Street.
• MariCar Community Center: Thursday, September 19. Located at 400 North Valley View Road.
• Morningside Community Center: Thursday, September 19. Located at 2400 South Bahnson Avenue.
