SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) -  A Sioux Falls man surrendered to police as a suspect in the SculptureWalk vandalism at the end of May.

Captain Blaine Larson says 24-year-old Robert Wayland Mitchell is charged with intentional damage to property.  Larson says Mitchell felt remorse over the vandalism and set up a meeting with detectives.    Larson says restitution is set at just over $2,800 dollars.

Meanwhile...Police made an arrest in a series of graffiti writings in permanent markers and spray paint.

Captain Larson says 23-year-old Damon Michael Griffith is charged with felony intentional damage to property.

Larson says vandalism to the Good Samaritan Building resulted in damages of between $5,000 and $10,000.

Larson says there have been thirteen similar graffiti vandalisms since the middle of April.
