Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) Sioux Falls City Counciler Greg Jamison admits he made a mistake when he led the effort to have Powder House Road re-named Veterans Parkway. Jamison plans to call for a re-vote at the council meeting Tuesday evening.
Jamison says he knew "in his gut" the night of the vote last week that it was the wrong thing to do and that a better road should be found to honor veterans, instead of a road basically on the edge of town. He says the local history of Powder House Road really has little to do with his change of heart.
Jamison wants local veterans groups involved in finding an appropriate road in Sioux Falls.
