SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The new Executive Director of the South Dakota Democratic Party is confident the Party has a bright future.
Suzanne Jones Pranger says even though the majority of South Dakotans don’t share the Party’s identification, she says the Party has proven the public shares its views.
Pranger says Democrats successfully got the state's minimum wage increase on the ballot where voters approved it in November. She says the legislature reduced the teenage minimum wage last session but Democrats also got enough signatures to bring that to the voters as well.
Pranger says it’s important that Democrats strengthen their county party system to recruit candidates.
