SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The Sioux Falls School Board hears reports today on two programs for at-risk students who don’t have enough credits for graduation.
Board President Kent Alberty says the Joe Foss Program is for students with significant absences.
Alberty says the Foss Program is more one on one with students, working more closely with them and trying to make sure they get enough credits to graduate.
Alberty says the Presidents’ Academy is for students age 17 and older with a more intensive curriculum.
The Sioux Falls School Board meets today at 5:30 at the Instructional Planning Center
