Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) Sioux Falls City Health Director Jill Franken used a dental example at budget hearings before City Council on Tuesday to emphasize the growing need for services.
Franken says that five years ago the city health clinic would see about 5,000 visits a year for dental services and now that number is over 9,000. She says that Sioux Falls gets a "cross section of demographic growth" each year as the population grows and that comes with increased need for city services.
