SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A dispute over a parking space led to a Sioux Falls man facing aggravated assault charges and his 15 year old neighbor suffering minor injuries.
Officer Sam Clemens says it started when 47-year-old James Lee Wieger allegedly punctured the tires of a vehicle parked in an alley behind South Lake Avenue.
Clemens says the car belonged to friend of the 15-year-old and Wieger feels the parking spot is his and that no one else should park there. The boy heard air coming from the tires and approached Wieger who grabbed him by the neck and threw him to the ground.
A neighbor heard the comotion and separated the two.
Clemens says Wieger is also charged with intention damage to property.
