Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) - Some sections of southern Sioux Falls were deluged with over seven inches of rain within two hours last night.
Meteorlogist Kyle Weisser of the National Weather Service says multiple locations in southern Sioux Falls officially received over six and seven inches of rain.
The highest recorded rainfall total in Sioux Falls was 7.52 inches. Tea received 6.93 inches. Nearly four inches was reported near Harrisburg.
Weisser says things should begin drying out later today. The forecast for this weekend is calling for plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 80's.
