SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Congresswoman Kristi Noem says the House tomorrow will vote on a bill that will streamline the federal permitting process.

Noem says it would eliminate unnecessary lawsuits by reducing the statute of limitations to challenge an environmental impact statement.

Noem says in some cases it takes more than a decade to get a federal building permit.  She says the most notorious example is the Keystone XL oil pipeline.

Noem says the bill would reduce time for a challenge from six years to six months.
