SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A resident of Six Mile Road, between Maple and Madison Streets, asked the Minnehaha County Commission to reduce the speed limit from 45 to 35.
Dr. David Bean says it’s dangerous getting in or out of his driveway.
Bean told Commissioners today that Six Mile Road has become a transit road for Brandon residents and workers at the John Morrell plant.
Dr. Bean says he could hear the traffic from his home traveling faster than 45.
Commissioner Jeff Barth, the Sheriff’s Office and the Highway Department will consider solutions.
