SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - The Minnehaha County Highway Department is the first in the nation with new style of message board speed trailers.
County Highway head D.J. Buthe says they’ll show drivers more than just their speed.
Buthe says after the speed is flashed, a second panel will show you how much your fine would be if you were speeding and were pulled over by authorities.
Buthe says it will take time to get the trailers programmed and in the streets.
