
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say a man raped a 19-year-old Sioux Falls woman in the garage of her home on South Spring Avenue early yesterday morning.
Captain Greg Vandekamp says the unknown suspect had earlier joined the victim at a bonfire at her house.
Vandekamp says the the suspect left with others in the party but returned when the victim was alone. He says she was putting things away in the garage when she was attacked by the man. The suspect fled and she called police.
The victim describes the suspect as a Native American, five-ten, skinny, short dark hair, dark colored t-shirt, dark baggy jeans with a design on the rear pocket and a flat billed hat.
