SIOUX FALLS, S.D (KELO AM) - The most remodeled room in homes is the kitchen.
Chairman of the Showcase of Remodeled Homes Charlie Beatch says soffits come out and new cabinets go in.
Batch says the kitchen has become the new community room in the house. People gather there to nosh and drink and watch the homeowner cook a meal. It's also where family style food can be served.
With before and after photos of the project, this Showcase offers the opportunity for attendees to see how local remodlers are working with price, materials and space.
Tour 12 newly remodeled homes in Sioux Falls tomorrow and Sunday. Admission is $5 a person and tickets are available at all of the Showcase homes.
