Sioux Falls, SD (KELO AM) – Every day many people head to the food pantry for help getting food on the table. Feeding South Dakota distributes about 23,000 lbs of food a week.

KSFY is reporting that Feeding South Dakota is currently short one item: meat.  The shortage has prompted the food pantry to limit the meat that they give out to one item per family.

Feeding South Dakota needs meat any time of the year.  Frozen items or canned meat and fish can be donated, as long as the item has not expired.  You can drop by any time to donate meat or non-perishable food items.
