SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A routine traffic stop early this morning found a 17-year-old Sioux Falls boy in possession of a stolen handgun.
Officer Sam Clemens says officers also found marijuana packaged in three baggies, pills and a bottle of vodka. The marijuana totaled just over 31 grams, or less than twoounces.
Clemens says the boy is charged with having a concealed weapon, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Clemens says the boy was not under the influence and a 19-year-old female passenger was released.
The boy was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.
