SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - A seven year old girl told police she was groped at the west side Walmart yesterday afternoon by a white male in a blue shirt.
Officer Sam Clemens says the girl got separated from her mother.
That's when the suspect, according to the child, approached her in an aisle and hugged her a couple of times. He then grabbed the victim between the legs, she screamed and the man fled.
It wasn't until the mother and daughter got home that the girl eventually described the ordeal.
Despite an extensive camera system at Walmart, investigators say there’s no coverage in the area of the incident.
