SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Fire in a central Sioux Falls duplex early this morning forced the occupants outside.
When Fire Rescue arrived after one this morning smoke was coming from the basement and eaves of the two story structure.
One occupant was checked for smoke inhalation but was not hospitalized.
The fire was limited to the basement and controlled in minutes.
Because of fire and smoke damage, tenants weren’t allowed back in and the Red Cross is assisting. The cause is under investigation.
