SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Last flu season was tough on seniors and infants in South Dakota with near record numbers of influenza hospitalizations and deaths.
Public Health Manager Sandy Frentz says getting a flu shot is part of a healthy lifestyle.
Frentz advises anyone that's immunocompromised, pregnant women, anyone with an underlying health condition, such as asthma, should be very proactive in getting a flu shot.
Immunizations for adults and children are available by appointment at Falls Community Health.
