SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELLO AM) - Police report an uptick in fake video lottery tickets over the last couple of months.
Officer Sam Clemens says the altered tickets typically claim between two and six hundred dollars.
Clemens says the phoney tickets are rarely discovered when they're passed. He says the altered tickets are usually found at the end of the night during the till count when closer inspections of the tickets can be made.
Clemens says the latest fake ticket was for six hundred dollars at the Ramada.
