Flandreau. SD (KELO AM) - The Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe is temporarily suspending plans marijuana cultivation and distribution on the reservation.
KSFY is reporting that the Tribe is destroying the crop on hand and will seek clarification from the United States Department of Justice in order to succeed in the venture.
The Tribe will continue to pursue the operation after consulting with state and federal officials to be granted parity with the states that have legalized marijuana.
