Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) Downtown Sioux Falls was busier than ever Saturday for "Small Business Saturday". Local shoppers flocked to shops and businesses to patronize the hometown merchants. KSFY-TV's Kelley Smith talked to the co-owner of Half Baked...Stewart Daniel, who said "It feels really good as a business owner to know that people really do care about your business.”
Next up for gift seekers, it's "Cyber Monday", when online merchants offer so called "super deals" on a wide variety of items. Several large retailers moved the deals up to Sunday, while other deals kick in as early as 12:01 A.M.Monday. Hot this year are electronics and outerwear. If you're planning on making online purchases, the Better Business Bureau says make sure you check the seller's reputation, know the transactions are secure, know the return policies and compare prices in traditional "brick and mortar" stores before you click and buy!
