SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say a 21-year-old man suffered gunshot wound to the leg last night in northwest Sioux Falls.
Officer Sam Clemens says the shooting happened in an apartment parking lot and the suspect’s motive is unknown.
Clemens says the suspect came out of the blue, fired a handgun six times hitting the victim once in the leg. The victim was in the parking lot helping a friend get the keys out of a locked car. The suspect was wearing a mask.
The incident happened on North Career Avenue around 11:30 and there has not been an arrest.
