Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) The Argus Leader newspaper has filed suit against the City of Sioux Falls.
The newspaper is trying to force the city to reveal details of the $1 million dollar deal that settled the bulging panels issue at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.
City Attorney Dave Pfeifle says the city can not reveal confidential information that was agreed to by all parties to the deal. The Argus contends that since the city never filed suit against the contractors over the rippled panels on the exterior of the building, the details of the deal must be made public.
Argus President and Publisher Bill Albrecht says the Premier Center was built using tax money and it is important that the taxpayers see and understand financial decisions made on their behalf.
