Victim becomes a suspect in Sioux Falls drug case

SIOUX FALLS,S.D. (KELO AM) - Police say the victim of an assault Friday night became the suspect in a felony drug case.

Officer Sam Clemens says when police got to the home on South Garfield they found Devin Michael Wiand with a head wound and over a pound of marijuana.

Wiand, Tyler James Ueke and Rodney Kramer, all 21, are charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.  Clemens says the incident could have been a drug-rip that didn't work out for what ever reason.

The men say they were assaulted at the home by five men, two armed with handguns.
