SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Tuesday, December 15th, is the last day to get health coverage to avoid paying a fee on your taxes.
Mike Fierberg with Medicare and Medicaid says that fee is 325 dollars a person or two percent of your adjusted gross income, whichever is greater.
Fierberg says the fee will almost double for 2016 or 2.5% of your adjusted gross income, whichever is greater.
Enroll in health coverage at HealthCare.gov for financial help to lower the cost of monthly premiums.
