SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - More school districts nationwide are adopting later start times on the advice of scientists who say expecting teens in classrooms before 8 a.m. isn’t good for health or report cards.

Sioux Falls School Board President Kent Alberty says the movement has a long way to go here.

Alberty says no one should expect the Board to make huge adjustments to school start times.  But, he says, the issue will be looked at.

Washington starts at 8:10, Roosevelt at 8:15 and Lincoln at 8:20.
