Sioux Falls, SD (KELO-AM) The Cinemark Century Theater complex on the Westside of Sioux Falls plans to stay open for 48 hours straight beginning Thursday evening, to keep up with the demand for the new Star Wars movie: The Force Awakens.
Cinemark wants movie goers in costume to know that they won't be able to keep masks on inside the theater, nor will they be able to bring light sabers inside.
There will be special events during the Thursday premiere, including an artist in the lobby painting 'live' a huge picture of the new Star Wars villain Kylo Ren. The painting will go to the lucky winner whose name is pulled out of a box.
KELO-AM and its Midwestern Communications sister stations have been giving away free tickets for a special showing Friday evening in Sioux Falls.
