SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO AM) - Officially Sioux Falls received five-point-four inches of snow but Street Fleet Manager Gaylynn Huber says some plow drivers report ten inches in southeast neighborhoods.
Huber says the snow is dry and fluffy.
The National Weather Service reports that the city has received more snow fall already this season than for all of last winter. Forecaster Todd Heitkamp says you can blame it on the El Nino effect.
Huber says over 32-and-half inches of snow fell in Sioux Falls in the last five weeks and over fifty-and-a-half in the fiscal year.
His new budget of over $8 million begins Friday.
